The Youth Congress in Information Technology (Y4iT) is an annual IT conference organized by the University of the Philippines Information Technology Training Center (UPITTC). Aimed at college students and young professionals, the Y4iT is an enabling event for the youth. It aims to recognize young Filipinos as key drivers in the highly dynamic IT industry. Various relevant, intriguing and exciting new IT topics are presented and discussed during every Y4iT congress. Y4iT is already in its 8th year and has become one of the most highly anticipated and biggest youth IT convention in the country, attracting close to 20,000 participants in 4 days. Y4it is scheduled on 14,15,16 & 17 Sept 2010. (Tue.-Fri.) at the University Theater, UP Film Institute, and Ang Bahay ng Alumni in UP Diliman, Quezon City.

Now on its 7th year, the Philippine Youth Congress in Information Technology is expected to be bigger and better. Held annually, the “Youth for IT” or Y4iT Congress is consistently flocked by delegates from different regions of the country for a new perspective on the current trends, innovations and career opportunities in ICT. It also provides a venue for discovering and evaluating the new technologies that impact our lives. Y4iT 2009 will be held on 08-11 Sept. in UP Diliman. It is hosted by the UP ITTC and UP SITF in cooperation with the Student Volunteer Corps, PSITE, CSP, PCS, JICA, PSIA and itprosasia.com.

The Philippine Youth Congress in Information Technology or “Y4iT” is an annual IT event hosted by UP IT Training Center (UPITTC) and UP System Information Technology Foundation (UPSITF) in cooperation with Philippine Society of IT Educators (PSITE), Computing Society of the Philippines (CSP), and the UP ITTC Student Volunteer Corps.
Now on its 6th year, the Y4IT is expected be attended by more than 17,000 youth from all over the country.
